Would Ableton 10 Work With Mac Mini 799 FreeI'm thinking the only solution to solve this is NOT to play live through Ableton and use TWO computers on stage, one for Tracks, and one for Live Piano. If the latency is set any lower than 1024 then any of the backing tracks (stems) that are playing on a given track in the scene are heard with unacceptable levels of cracking and popping through the Focusrite 18i8. If my latency is set any higher than 512K, when playing my keyboard through Ableton in a live setting with VIP as the plug-in, there is an unworkable delay between the time I press my key to the time hear the note.
